Why Am I Getting Shocked by My Furnace?

If the gas line is not grounded, and the furnace has reversed polarity with hot and neutral reversed, and they bonded the neutral, now the hot line to the case of the furnace, you will get shocked by touching it. A furnace cabinet, gas pipe, or floor grate should not be shocking you.
